Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Compensation: $55/hour + Full Benefits
Position Overview
A prestigious private estate in Beverly Hills seeks an experienced, highly organized, hands-on Lead Housekeeper to oversee and work alongside an established housekeeping team.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with exceptional communication skills, extensive experience in luxury private estates, and the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
A background in luxury hospitality or five-star hotels is highly preferred, along with advanced laundry, ironing, and garment care skills.
This hands-on leadership position requires someone equally comfortable managing a team and actively participating in daily housekeeping responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead, supervise, and work alongside a team of housekeepers to ensure exceptional daily operations.
● Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping staff to maintain consistent, five-star standards.
● Delegate daily assignments, establish priorities, and oversee the completion of all housekeeping responsibilities.
● Conduct regular inspections to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
● Perform hands-on housekeeping, detailed cleaning, and special projects alongside the team.
● Oversee laundry operations, including washing, ironing, steaming, delicate garment care, and wardrobe organization.
● Establish and maintain efficient housekeeping procedures, cleaning schedules, and quality-control standards.
● Maintain household supplies, cleaning products, and inventory.
● Communicate effectively with household management and other staff members to ensure seamless operations.
● Handle fine furnishings, luxury finishes, specialty surfaces, and delicate household items with exceptional care.
● Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and organization.
Qualifications
● Proven experience as a Lead Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor, or similar leadership position within a luxury private estate.
● Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and motivate a team of housekeepers.
● Experience working in large, fully staffed luxury residences.
● Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential.
● Previous experience in a five-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is highly preferred.
● Strong laundry, ironing, steaming, and fine garment care skills are highly desirable.
● Extensive knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, luxury finishes, and delicate materials.
● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
● Must be a hands-on leader who is willing to work alongside the team.
● Professional, polished, discreet, and dependable.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
● Excellent references from previous employers.
